Students will further explore Pandora's Box by creating their own Pandora's Box. I would suggest watching a brief video about Pandora's Box (not included). I just showed my students a video off teachertube.com and youtube.com to build their background knowledge on the topic. I had my students bring in a shoe box or large container to decorate which will be their own Pandora's Box. Students will choose 9 items to represent what they envision evils in their world. Finally, they will choose an object to represent hope. There is a writing component which can be tweaked to meet your students' needs. There is a simple graphic organizer included to set up their ideas to compose a poem or essay. Again, this allows for flexibility for your own students.
