Once panic signs are recognized, the Take 5 interventions displayed offer a simple way to remember how to manage anxiety when in panic. Encouraging a "Take 5" brain break to gain physical and cognitive control, each skill includes a suggestion using the number 5, such as take 5 deep breaths, take 5 sips of water, bring your full attention to draw 5 doodles, or squeeze and release each muscle for 5 seconds.
