Ready for your students to get SUPER excited about practicing ANY concept!? Well, try Paper Ball Pitch! It is super engaging – students love it!
This activity is designed to practice Order of Operations (with exponents & square roots, as well as integer operations -- see below for a link to Paper Ball Pitch that does not include square roots, if interested in that as well/instead).
Each student starts out with about 2 to 4 paper balls, they get about 30 seconds or so to have a paper ball war, then they work on the problem with their group/partner. Once finished they check their answer, and you do it all over again. This makes even the most reluctant student excited to jump in and try :)
This set includes 11 different questions to help practice order of operations (with square roots and exponents). As well as teacher directions, a student directions page to display, and an answer key.
Let the games begin!
