A hands-on activity where students compare the “strength” of different brands of paper towel by measuring how much mass they are able to hold. The provided result table can be a stand-alone assignment or incorporated into an interactive science (lab) notebook. Alternatively students can make their own result table that can be part of a small poster. A grading rubric is included. A simple graph can be constructed from the results; graph paper provided.
