This is multiple choice questions over the prologue of Paper Towns. Not only will students better understand the text, but they will practice for state tests at the same time!
This works best when done as a class at the beginning of a Paper Towns unit. I started my students doing the test prep practice as a class and then weaned them into independent practice as we read Paper Towns. However, this may differ depending on how advanced or delayed your students are and what month you teach Paper Towns during.
There are 10 questions: 1 true/false, 9 multiple choice. I made some of the answers very similar to each other in order to best simulate standardized tests.
It is 6 pages long: 3 pages are questions, 3 pages are the answer key.
You will need to have the book, Paper Towns, to complete this activity.
