This activity is created to use as a scaffold approach for students that need hurdle help beginning their writing. I refer to the "paper wall" as the sight words surrounding their paper, just like a word wall. Students are to use these words to create their first sentences. Then students may follow the teacher directions of how many more sentences they should write. I use this with my first graders and ask them to write two more details on their own. This is great for all students and can be used in a variety of ways.
