Papercraft birds, that are angry, and also one pig, for students to colour, cut out, fold and make into 3D creations. This is a favourite among my students. I use it when we're working with 3D shapes and also to teach folding in preparation for origami. It engages everyone, even the hard-to-reach boys. Includes 5 different birds and a pig.
Tips for Teaching: students colour their chosen template (they often will want to do more than one in a session) -- for the pig, they can draw in the mouth. Then, cut out and fold like a 3D solid (cube or pyramid). They tape the edges with small pieces of tape.
*** The biggest bird is in a separate file, and was meant to be printed out on 11x17 paper. If not, he'll just be smaller. ***
