Students will use the angle relationships created by parallel lines and transversals to set up equations, solve for x, and find the value of the angle measures. Students will also have to identify corresponding angles, alternate interior angles, alternate exterior angles and vertical angles.
Each card will have 4 statements about the angles created by parallel lines and transversals. Students will have to find the incorrect statement and rewrite it. This activity is a great way to get students engaged and communicating about math.
