Print, Copy, Cut, Go!
I created these activities because I found that my students could do the calculations for parallel lines and transversals but were struggling with the vocabulary associated with the topic. This was causing them not to be as successful as they should have been on our state’s standardized test.
Using the provided maps, students will place symbols to verify their knowledge of the following terms:
There 3 different maps, each with a set of instructions. These can be used as 3 separate tasks/stations or grouped into a single task/station. I recommend that you print these on card stock and laminate them. The included exit ticket gives you a quick way of verifying the acquisition of knowledge. I’ve also created a mini anchor chart for your wall or to project on your board.
