Parallel Lines and Transversals Notes and Practice
(3 pages total: two pages of notes and one page of practice)
*This product now includes two versions of notes and practice. Version A is intended to be a bit easier for lower level to on-level students and version B is intended for advanced or honors students.
On the 2 pages of notes, postulates, theorems and converses regarding the angles formed with parallel lines and transversals are defined and there are four "Lets try" problems to practice applying the postulates, theorems and converses.
Version A of the practice page consists of 10 problems in which students will have to apply their knowledge of angle relationships formed with parallel lines and transversals. (Version B has 12 problems and they are a bit more difficult than version A.)
The notes page could be used in class to introduce angle relationships with parallel lines and transversals or as a review.
The practice page could be used in class as individual, partner or small group work or as homework.
*All answer keys are included
