This “toolkit” of notes follows closely with AVID strategies that implement college bound practices in class. Students will take notes, then the following day write questions based on those notes in addition to writing a summary. At the end of each "toolkit", I usually add the schedule for the unit with upcoming quizzes and test, in addition to varied leveled questions that allow students to check in to see where they’re at.
This is a packet of notes and practice problems for a full unit on parallel lines/planes and transversals.
Students rarely lose these packets and love the fact that all they need to keep from unit to unit is this packet, while tossing out all of the extra HW and class practice we do.
