Use this simple note fill-in sheet to introduce your students to parallel lines and transversals!
Spend the first day on this topic with your students learning the parts of the Parallel Lines/Transversal Diagram. Then, have them work with the angle relationships by simply calling the angels "Bigs" and "Littles". This helps to diffuse confusion later when labeling with their proper names (ex. Alternate interior) because they have gotten an initial relationship between the angles first.
Supplement this basic note sheet with your traditional worksheet to complete the lesson! They can solve any basic parallel line problem with just these simple definitions!
