Calculus and Parametric Equations
These great activities and resources are designed for AP Calculus BC and College Calculus 2. This topic is included in the Calculus 2 Unit, Polar and Parametric Functions, usually the last unit in Calculus 2. However this material is also be part of the Vector Unit in AP Calculus BC, the last unit of AP Calculus BC.
☑ 4 sets of 16 Task Cards, one with QR and one without, in color and in black and white. The cards are numbered and coded by type, #1 – 4, Finding a tangent line, #5 – 7, Finding the Second Derivative, #8 – 10, Parametric Area, #11 – 14, Arc Length, and #15 -16, Surface of Revolution. Student do not need the internet to use the QR codes, just a device with a QR Reader app installed.
☑ Master List of Questions which can also be used as an assessment or class worksheet instead of the Task cards, and can also be used for an absent student.
☑ Student response sheets. They are unnumbered so you can choose the cards you want. I have left plenty of room for students to show their work.
