In this skill lesson, you will find a presentation for your students on the SOS paraphrasing strategy, an example for modeling, and a handout to provide your students to follow along. This will provide students with a concrete protocol on how to approach paraphrasing an authors words into their own words! This product has been used with hundreds of students at the middle school level and proves to be a helpful method for approaching the extracting of text evidence.
