Our fifth grade team hosted student led conferences each fall. Students worked with the teachers to prepare their work and talking points of a conversation to be had with each subject-specific teacher. Students were also given time to guide their parents through each classroom and continue the learning reflection process. This document was one I provided for parents/guardians as they walked through my classroom with their student. It helped parents know what they could ask their child about and what they should be looking to see. It also guided parents in taking note of our organizational systems without specifically having to ask their child if they were keeping up with organizing their work in class.
