Parent: How was school today?
How many times have we experienced this exchange with our own children?
The parents of your students have been there as well and that is why they will love this resource!
Parents will find 20 open-ended questions that will move kids beyond “fine” and “nothing” when asked about their day.
There are 6 different designs to choose from. I hope one will work for you and your class.
My favorite ways to use:
1. Run in color on cardstock, laminate, and present to parents at parent conferences. I like to put a piece of magnetic tape on the back so parents can put it on their refrigerator for a quick reference.
2. They also make a nice hand-out at Title I Parent Nights, PTA meetings, and Family Reading Nights.
Your parents will appreciate receiving this resource!
