When I first began bringing parents on-board, I feared few would come.
Soon, I realized that many parents appreciate partnering in their children’s educational enterprise.
Updated with an informational text to challenge myths
that parents of teens don't want to be at school. Opportunities for your ideas and graphic organizers to plan parental involvement in your class.
You may have assumed as I once did, that secondary school parents won’t come.
You’ll be glad to know that’s myth, and these materials will show you just how much secondary, and even university parents add.
So why do most parents of upper level learners stay away?
Research shows why parents stay away.
When they feel they don’t know enough about the curriculum, when they cannot see value in their offering, or when they feel they’re unwelcome, many parents avoid secondary schools.
Hopefully these ready-to-roll brain-based materials
will benefit your learners and leaders as they do mine at middle, secondary, university levels and beyond.
Do follow my TpT site
and keep up with brain-friendly materials to enhance your class.
