Included in this packet are bookmark-style vocabulary/word lists for use in articulation therapy / speech homework addressing the R and S sounds, or as language therapy / homework addressing vocabulary development, defining, and use of vocabulary in context.

It is often difficult to motivate middle-school students to take an active role in practicing speech/language skills outside the speech therapy setting. Additionally, it is often difficult to establish parental involvement. These were designed to create an atmosphere in which a parent becomes a partner with their child in progressing toward mastery of speech/language goals.

Individual bookmarks include:
* 3 bookmarks for Initial R including a noun list, verb list,
and descriptors list
* 3 bookmarks for Vowel-Controlled Medial R including a noun
list, verb list, and descriptors list
* 3 bookmarks for Vowel-Controlled Final R including a
noun list, verb list and descriptors list
* 3 bookmarks for Initial S including a noun list, verb list,
and descriptors list
* 3 bookmarks for Medial S including a noun list, verb list,
and descriptors list
* 3 bookmarks for Final S including a noun list, verb list,
and descriptors list

The practice lists are designed to elicit two productions of each target word in a variety of contexts. Boxes are provided for tracking correct / incorrect sound production. If the word lists are used for language therapy the boxes are to be used to track accuracy of vocabulary knowledge per the task presented.
