This is a bridging activity for the upper grades. This was created specifically for 4th grade, but could be used in 3rd or 5th.
Students can do this individually or in groups. They are given the paragraph in Spanish and do their best to translate it into English. It is a great way to see what vocabulary students know and to hear the dialogue between students about how they think the sentences should sound in English.
There are 3 paragraphs. There is an easy, medium and hard paragraph. Each paragraph is a different topic (weather, erosion or maps).
