My students often struggle finding the best piece of evidence to standardized test questions that have a Part A and Part B component. This intervention teaches students a test-taking strategy on how to tackle multi-step questions.

This intervention can be used with any Part A and Part B questions however many times needed. Use with your favorite CommonLit or NewsELA articles!

This intervention:

- walks students through the process of selecting the correct answers in a multiple choice question based off The Clockman by Shel Silverstein

- provides students with a place for future practice opportunities
