Part Part Whole Cube Counting and Equation Mats

This set of counting mats were designed to teach students about a variety of skills- including five/ten frames, part part whole, addition, and a framework for subtraction! Includes 68 counting mats that are bright an engaging. Students can use cubes or other counters to break each number down into a set of number partners.

Each number has two different cards with cubes in different colors so that students can have ample practice with the numbers. There are more than enough cards for this to be used as a multi-student center and share the cards and cubes within the group!

In this product, there are mats for breaking down numbers within 5 and 10 that come in two different versions. One set of counting mats has provides more scaffolding and has the two sets of cubes included. Students can count the number of each color cube and use the totals to complete the equation. The second set of mats has only one color of cubes included. Students find out how many cubes they need to complete the number and then complete the equation.
