Description

Sheets are included for the numbers 3-10.

The purpose of these sheets is to help your student visualize the bond between numbers. They also need to recognize that each number is composed of different parts.

To complete these sheets, your student needs to color the flower petals with two different colors. Then students fill in the number bond that corresponds to how they colored it.

Students can then share the different ways that they colored the petals. For example, one student may have colored 3 feathers blue and 2 feathers red while another student colored 4 blue and 1 red.

There are three different versions of this activity to meet the needs of your classroom., along with a large flower sheet to use as an example. Some sheets already have the whole number in place. And some sheets have the petals broken up into two groups. .
