Put this on a clipboard and use it for students who need the extra support, daily. I use it with special needs children, but also children who need support with self-regulation and social skills. I like to use it with children who have separation anxiety so that they learn to love school and look forward to spending time with their friends. We go over it at the end of the day and it is sent home so that the parents can follow-up.
This checklist was made especially for kids doing after school programs, swimming lessons, summer camps, etc. It encourages them to put themselves out there and participate fully. Getting the leader/coach on board with this checklist has proved successful for many children that I know!
