This year, I have made it my mission to impel students to become more self-directed and accountable in their learning. While I do still evaluate students in the domain of participation, I created this in order for students to better hold themselves accountable for their effort, work ethic, and participation in class, and to provide them with the opportunity to assess their own performance in an honest and reflective way.
These versatile rubrics can be used in a variety of ways... Here are some ideas:
Use one of these rubrics...

⭐ after you have presented new material. (How well did students learn the material?)
⭐ after an interpersonal activity. (How well did students actively communicate in class?)
