This is a set of 4 activities to help students practice partitioning rectangles into rows and columns to create equal sized squares and count how many there are (CCSS 2.G.2). You can do these individually or as a packet.
The first page requires small and large squares to be cut out and placed on the rectangles. The rest of the pages are done by drawing/partitioning the rectangles on their own.
Hope your students enjoy it as much as mine do :)
