This assessment includes 6 questions on the front of the assessment where students must determine (yes or no) if rectangles are partitioned into equal groups, and 6 multiple choice questions where students must determine which rectangle has a certain number of equal parts as well as which rectangle does NOT have an equal number of parts.
For examples: Which shape does NOT show 4 equal parts?
The second page of the assessment includes 3 questions where students must partition a rectangle into rows/columns. For example: Partition the rectangle into 3 columns and two rows.
In addition, there are 3 word problems related to partitioning where students must partition a rectangle as well as solve the problem.
