Use these cards to help students find partners for any activity. There are 30 cards total that represent 10 numbers (most 3 digit, some 2 digit.) Each number corresponds to three cards--one in standard, one in expanded, and one in word form.
I use these cards as a quick way to review place value when grouping students for activities or a turn-and-talk. I distribute the cards randomly and then students have to find their two partners that have the same value on their card. Cards can be re-used as students are likely to get a different cad each time the activity is done.
Another great thing I did with these cards is that I had the students decide if their number was greater or less than the number of the group next to them. Then, we listed all ten numbers in order from least to greatest.
