Students can be grouped in several different ways. One way is to let students work with a partner they’ve chosen for themselves. This is where the Partner Label comes into play. Select a label that works for your needs and best suits your class needs. You could use multiple labels or just one. You have options. During the first week of school as you are establishing your classroom norms and routines, set aside about 10 minutes for students to choose 5 of their classmates to be partners with for the school year. I also make myself available to be a partner.
Once students have written their partner names, then you can place the paper in your Target Square Adhesive Label. The Label can go on desks, notebooks, folders, or anywhere you know that students can easily see their partner list. This is perfect for flexible seating classrooms as well! You could also use these in the same way without the Target label of course!
