Partner Power activities are nice because each student solves a different set of problems and must do his/her own work, but when the partners compare answers they should be the same. This helps students build confidence as they verify correct solutions, identify errors, and correct their work. Discussions between partners are often great learning opportunities!
This activity consists of twenty questions (ten for each partner).
Students will find the greatest common factor or least common multiple for a pair of numbers.
The largest value used in the number pairs is 108. The GCF values range is size from 4 to 18. The LCM values range from 48 to 120.
This activity can be used for practice, as a review, as a math center, or as an assignment choice for differentiating lessons.
