Partner Practice Spinner is a quick way to set up partners for any kind of practice. You can arrange high ability with lower ability or keep behaviors from choosing each other by placing them on the same wheel!
How to Use:
Print the background page. Next, choose the wheel page for your class size. Decide how you want to organize your students. Put them into two groups. Write the names of one group on the outside shape and the other group on the inside shape. Cut out both wheels. Glue or place the larger wheel in the center circle. This one is stationary and does not rotate. Then place (or use removable tape or a brad) the smaller wheel on top of the larger wheel . Rotate to match up the students you want to work together.
Teacher Tip: I make two to use for my class. I make one with all my students and one without my GATE students. That way when my GATE students are gone, I can quickly set up partners. If someone is absent, I make a group of three. I display this using a document camera so it is easy for everyone to see.
