Do you sometimes have trouble keeping your students on task during Partner Reading? Do they sometimes forget the steps to get ready at the beginning of the year? I use these accountability pages to keep my readers on track while I'm meeting with guided reading groups. The first page I use at the very beginning of the year for kids to remember the steps, record what went well or what didn't and rate their partnership for the day. The next few pages have the steps to remember but then ask a comprehension to guide their reading for the day. The final few pages have no steps and just ask the comprehension questions.
