A new and innovative approach for teaching recorder, using partner songs!
This course with over 50 songs, moves away from the G-A-B / C-D-E sequence of notes to works with an F-G-A beginning. It prepares students to commence playing partner songs, instant two part harmony work. This is the first recorder method to encourage ensemble/part work at such an early stage in the learning process.
Reflection grids give the performer an opportunity to think about their achievements. The fingering charts are clear and very easy to read. Recommended for the German fingered recorder, this course caters for the Baroque too. Notes taught in the Partner Song Recorder Book are C, D, E, F, G, A, B, C', and D'.
Included is a bonus set of two Recorder Compositions with portfolio task, which makes it a breeze for both the student and the teacher. Teacher notes are included.
