This is a great resource to review or refresh your students' knowledge of adjectives, either at the beginning of the school year or with small groups as you see the need. This packet includes a note page for students to list examples of adjectives, 3 worksheets (identifying adjectives, degrees of adjectives, and articles), and a quiz over all topics. Answer keys are included.
At the end, there is a project by which you can assess your students' understanding and use of adjectives in authentic writing. For the project, students will write their own original rhyming poem based on Jack Prelutsky's "The Dragon's Lament" and publish it in a Power Point to make an e-book. For assessment, there is a rubric to assess the poems and a rubric to assess technology skills.
