This is a great resource to review or refresh your students' knowledge of adverbs, either at the beginning of the school year or with small groups as you see the need. This packet includes a note page for students to list examples of adverbs, worksheets (adverbs telling how, adverbs telling when and where, placement in sentences), and a quiz over all topics. Answer keys are included.
At the end, there is a project by which you can assess your students' understanding and use of adverbs in authentic writing. For the project, students will write their own original poem in the style of James Reeves's poem "Slowly" and publish it using Wordle. For assessment, there is a rubric to assess the poems and a rubric to assess technology skills.
