These versatile parts of speech cards are great for a word wall or classroom decor. However, to make learning grammar fun, do what I do: print multiple copies, attach magnetic tape to the backs, and use them for a sentence-labeling activity! I write sentences on the board and let my kids move the colorful, magnetic cards to identify nouns, verbs, adjectives, etc. in the sentences. (The part of speech and the definition are on separate cards, so you can use this product in a variety of ways.) It's a kinesthetic way to pre-assess grammar at the start of the school year, and of course it's excellent practice when you're teaching a specific part of speech. When I'm not using these cards, I display them in a vertical "stack" as a print-rich chalkboard divider!
There are 16 9" x 3.5" cards included - noun, verb, adjective, adverb, preposition, conjunction, pronoun, and interjection, plus a matching definition card for each.
