This chart can be used in the computer lab or classroom with students. It has the main parts of speech listed, a summary of what each part of speech does, and a space for students to write examples. In my classroom, each student completes the examples portion with words, phrases related to his/her restricted interests (i.e. noun = train, proper noun = Thomas the Tank Engine, etc.). After completion, students will have a chart they can refer to throughout the year.
