I have created a fun way to review parts of speech with kids. I teach sixth grade and I still find kids that still don't know the difference between a noun and a verb. This is a great way for the kids to practice them.
There are two ways to play this game. You could match the parts of speech with their definitions, or you could match the parts of speech with their example in a sentence.
I have included a sheet that could be printed on the back of all of the matching cards to make it more difficult for the kids to see through the paper. I have also included some blank cards that are editable, so you can add in anything else you might be working on.
This would be a great game to play as a literacy center, and could be used in partners, groups, or individually.
