Use this digital, interactive packet to teach your middle school students grammar! Have students WATCH VIDEOS, WRITE DEFINITIONS, GIVE THEMSELVES STUDY TIPS, and practice their learning by WRITING EXAMPLES with their parts of speech.
Students then practice identifying their parts of speech in a whole class activity. Finally, there is a project assignment at the end of their week-long mini unit where students can CHOOSE how to show their knowledge. This was used in a Personalized Learning Classroom.
Complete the unit as a class or allow students to move at their own pace. I recommend giving a quiz at the end of the unit.
I teach this unit at the very start of the year to prepare students for reading, writing, and continuous grammar learning and practice. Most students need the refresher. Enjoy!
