I use this game to review parts of speech with my freshmen.
The first part of the slideshow is just a part of speech review, so you can quickly run through them again before playing the game.
I usually group the students in small groups and give them a whiteboard. The slides give them a structure for each round - for example, a sentence with an art-adj-noun-verb and the students have to write a sentence in that structure and label it. They then race to find me to get points. The first group with it correct gets 5 points, the second group gets 4 points, etc.
This gets them moving around, thinking together, and applying the parts of speech definitions.
Included: POS review, instruction slide, game slides with a bonus round.
