Use these 468 parts of speech picture/word cards as a visual display to help your students remember the difference between nouns, verbs, and adjectives.
Cards can also be used to help your students spell these words correctly. The words I selected are words that children use often in their writing. I hang my cards in a pocket chart and leave them there all year for the children to refer to.
Here is what's included:
✅312 noun cards
✅78 verb cards
✅78 adjective cards
✅13 activity sheets
✅Labels that say: Nouns, Verbs, Adjectives
►Use them for your pocket chart display or on the bins that hold your cards
✅Pocket Chart Headers that say: Person, Place, Thing, Animal
►Use them when students sort the different types of nouns
Here are more ways to utilize these cards:
⭐Print 2 sets and play memory. Since there are so many cards, you can make several different memory games.
⭐Students can use them during writing time when they need a writing idea or a different noun, verb, or adjective and they can’t think of one.
⭐Have students sort just the nouns. I included person, place, thing, and animal header cards.
⭐Hang the cards around the room and have your students go on a parts of speech hunt.
