This PowerPoint reviews all 8 parts of speech: nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, pronouns, prepositions, conjunctions, and interjections. I created it as a culminating activity that reviews my three-part Parts of Speech PowerPoint series. This file contains a 3-page PowerPoint companion handout. Students can write on the handout as you progress through the PowerPoint.
This is a 50-slide PowerPoint. It begins with a quick review of each part of speech.
(These 8 introduction slides are actually the same ones that were in Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3 of the Parts of Speech series.)
It concludes with 38 practice slides written in a multiple choice format. On each slide, a single word is underlined, and students need to identify the part of speech of that underlined word.
Check out the preview for a closer look at any particular portion! (But remember, the preview is in a PDF format, and the product is truly an interactive PowerPoint with full animation.)
This PowerPoint cannot be edited due to the copyright requirements made by the contributing artists (clip art, font, background).
