Product Description
All students need to work on vocabulary, and there are few better ways to work on vocabulary than to use a Frayer Model. It provides students opportunities to write, define, and draw.

This bundle is specifically relates to the different parts of a cell and the levels of organization as they are described in a middle school setting. Included is 16 vocabulary words covering the different levels of organization including cells, tissues, organs, organ systems, organisms, population. Also are the different parts of cells including cell wall, cell membrane, chloroplast, nucleus, organelle, DNA, vacuole, cytoplasm, mitochondrion/mitochondria, and lysosome.

This bundle includes double printed Frayer Models to save paper or if you would like to print a packet of the Frayer Models, there is another set of double Frayer Models with the same term per page.

The Frayer Models include the levels of organization, the definition of the term, what the term makes up (cells make up tissue, tissue makes up an organ, etc.), some examples of (e.g. xylem, capillaries), and an illustration.

The Frayer Models for the cell parts are slightly different in that they focus on structure and function instead of definition and makes up. That way it is tailored on the student’s understanding of the word.

Additionally, if you would just like the template for the Frayer Model, a large single blank Frayer Model is provided along with a double blank Frayer Model. To help illustrate what students are supposed to do for the Frayer Model, two large single page examples are provided as well.

These Frayer Models can be given as homework, vocabulary centers, review, or work for subs.
