In this activity, students are given a set of 42 cards to sort. Students must match the correct word to its definition and its picture. Students can make piles of correctly sorted cards for the teacher to check. I usually do this in groups so I only print 5-6 sets of cards. I also laminate them so that I can reuse them over and over! Make this a game by offering prizes to the first group to sort all cards correctly.
The cards are already grouped together vertically with their correct matches, so teachers can use this as the answer key.
Words include: center, radius, diameter, sector, chord, tangent line, point of tangency, arc, minor arc, major arc, semi-circle, secant line, inscribed angle, and central angle.
Includes blank cards for teachers to add their own!
If there are words that are not part of your curriculum, simply take those out of the set! This activity is very versatile!
