Parts of a Plant Song - Anchor Chart and Chant Audio - King Virtue's Classroom
This Parts of a Plant anchor chant is a fun way to review the parts of a plant (roots, stem, leaves, flower, and seed). After the students learn the chant, you can sing it without the music. This is a great way to transition in the classroom and get students moving!
This set includes:
1 anchor chant
Research has shown that students learn best when teachers cater towards their unique learning styles. Over the years, I have found this to be true. I have always loved using anchor charts to help students “anchor” their learning, but I felt something was missing. Students were struggling to remember the important “buzz words” and what they mean. That’s when I began creating what I call “anchor chants.” I use these in conjunction with my anchor charts and basic instruction. These short chants or songs immerse the students in their learning and help them stay engaged. The biggest benefit I have found is that my anchor chants help me reach my visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learners.
