Students will identify the inside and outside parts of a pumpkin. The outside of the pumpkin opens like a flap book to reveal the inside! For the lesson, students will observe an actual pumpkin, then they will color and label their pumpkin pages.
-inside and outside of a pumpkin without label boxes
-inside and outside of a pumpkin with blank label boxes
-inside and outside of a pumpkin with filled-in label boxes for an answer key
-page of vocabulary with 10 sets of labels
As a side note, I photographed an actual pumpkin to create this illustration. The pumpkin came from my parent's pumpkin patch. Don't you just love the swirled stem?
