Product Description

EASY PREP! TARGET MULTIPLE LANGUAGE GOALS! | Winter Speech and Language activities | Snowman Speech Therapy | Snowman language supplement | Parts of a snowman | Build a snowman | How to build a snowman | Snowman Body |

An EASY PREP snowman activity to discuss the different parts of a snowman. Use this with multiple ages and abilities- adaptable as a supplement to any Snowman themed unit or therapy activity!

Included are SEVEN activities:

1.Parts of a snowman tissue box drop: Print, cut, and attach the provided snowman to the front of an empty tissue box and as you talk about each of his body parts and accessories, allow the student to drop the card into the box (if you don’t have a tissue box you can use a sturdy cup).

2.Word-Picture match-up: Print and cut-out the picture cards and word cards and have students match the corresponding picture to its word.

3.Word-Picture memory: Print and cut-out the picture cards and word cards on cardstock and turn them over. Play memory by matching the picture to its corresponding word. You can also use the vocabulary cards by printing two copies and playing memory, matching the identical cards.

4.Build your own snowman: Print worksheet and have students color/draw their own snowman. For more advanced students, have them label the parts.

5.Compare and contrast: Use the Venn Diagram to guide students through a comparison of parts of a snowman vs. parts of a human. For more advanced students let them complete the activity independently with or without the word bank.

6.“WH” questions worksheet: Have students cut out the pictures on the bottom of the worksheet and glue them in the correct box to answer the “what,” “who,” or “where” question.

7.Pacing boards: For students working on expressive language, use these pacing boards to aid their sentence expansion.
