Use these cards as a class, small group, pairs, or as homework for students to review the parts of a story including; characters, setting, plot, realism vs fantasy, etc. The student picks a card from the deck after reading a story. The student then has to identify what is on the card in relation to the story. For example, what was the THEME of the story? "That you should always tell the truth." This can be a verbal game, you can have your students write their answers, or even draw their answer for the VISUALIZE card. This is a great review of reading comprehension.
