This graphic organizer was designed to be done after students complete notes about the basic parts of a transverse wave. It can also be used as a way to check comprehension of independently assigned book work.
Vocabulary students will need to know or be able to look up to complete this graphic organizer are: crest, trough, amplitude, wavelength, and frequency.
Students will draw and label four transverse waves
with a color coded system, as well as show their understanding of the relationship between wavelength and frequency
in a fill-in-the-blank sentence.
An answer key is included to make it easy for you to grade.
