This is meant to be a listening activity that allows you to assess comprehension of parts of the body vocab along with their listening skills.
Students will need a piece of paper for this activity. Begin by saying that a thief broke into your house and stole something the night before (I usually say they stole my cat and I need the students to help me find el ladrón).
The goal is for the students to draw a picture of the thief as they hear you describe him. I like to leave the written portion on the board so they can both listen and follow along on their own.
At the end of the activity, I have the students compare their drawings with their partners. I then call on students randomly to have them translate the script line by line. The students who drew the ladrón as you described him have a good understanding of the new vocabulary.
