A great game to print out and have on hand for students!
Great for vocabulary acquisition as well as verb conjugation recognition/practice. Use before a writing exercise. Or use for stations, review, warm-up, tutoring, or to fill extra time at the end of class.
Here is how it works:
• Print out PAGE 2
(If you are using this for stations then you only need ONE set but if you would like it to be a class activity then print MULTIPLE sets. Printing each on a diff colored paper ensures that the sets don’t get mixed up. Store in snack sized ziplocks or use a rubber band to keep a set together)
• Cut out all the papers
• Turn all the papers over so that you can't see the words
(like the game MEMORY)
• Take turns flipping over two papers at a time
• Find the Passé Composé conjugated versions of the phrases. If you find a match you may keep it.
• The person with the most matches wins.
